I offer weekly, one-to-one counselling or psychotherapy sessions of 50 minutes each, either open-ended or for an agreed number of sessions. My practice is in North Holmwood near Dorking, Leatherhead, Reigate, Horsham & Guildford. If you are unable to see me face to face then I can offer counselling via telephone or via Skype.
Whilst no guarantee can be offered, to date clients' evaluations of our therapy work together have consistently reported significant benefits in their experience of living.
I believe that individuals have the potential to solve their own problems. I offer a supportive, confidential, safe environment, of acceptance, empathy and genuine warmth, in which you can explore and determine your own solutions. Whilst this applies to both counselling and psychotherapy, counselling tends to be more oriented towards addressing specific issues affecting your life. By improving your awareness in depth of how and why you think and feel as you do, you are more able to take fuller ownership of your life.
My psychotherapeutic work pays more attention to the your patterns of relating particularly those emerging in the therapy sessions. Through the therapeutic experience, new patterns of relating can emerge. As an integrative psychotherapist, my way of working draws on various schools of thought, primarily humanistic and psychodynamic.

MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy (Metanoia Institute, 2007)
Diploma in Psychology (Open University, 1996)
I have over 1,000 hours experience of seeing clients since 1999 in a variety of contexts:-AXA ICAS Employee Support MIND in Croydon GP Surgery at Clapham Park Psychotherapy Department, Sutton Hospital Metanoia Counselling & Psychotherapy Service, Ealing Open Door Youth Counselling Service, Carshalton and in private practice.

The price for each session (including the initial session) is £40.
Quota based therapy discounts negotiable.
NHS Employees referred via the NHS Discount scheme may also receive a discount.
