About me

One size doesn't fit all. I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Group Facilitator and have experience in working with NHS, NGOs, schools and private practice. I specialize in addictions and women in addiction, low self esteem, eating disorders, depressions, bereavement and loss, abuse and co-dependency.

There are times in life when we feel the need of something more; an extra hand or help, someone who will not judge us. Somewhere where we can just feel free to be.

I believe in the power of discovery the self through talking and reflecting in a non judgmental environment and Counselling can help to understand better who we are and where we want to go.

As an Integrative counsellor I draw from different theoretical approaches depending on the needs of each individual client.

I offer short and long term therapy on an individual one-to-one basis.

I work in both English and Italian languages.

I am a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and of the Federation of Drug & Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) and I follow their Ethical Framework.

My practice is based in Herne Hill, Brixton area of South London

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
L'approccio "taglia unica" non va bene per tutti. Sono una Counsellor e un facilitatore di gruppi di terapia con una vasta esperienza sia nel campo pubblico che privato (NHS, scuole e no-profit), sono specializzata nel campo delle dipendenze di droghe e alcol, donne e abusi di sostanze, bassa stima di se, depressione, disturbi alimentari, lutti e perdite, abusi e codipendenze.
Ci sono momenti nella vita in cui si sente il bisogno di un aiuto in piú, qualcuno o qualcosa che non ci giudichi, dov'é possibile sentirsi liberi di essere.
Credo nella forza della scoperta di se stessi attraverso il mondo della parola e della riflessione, se avviene in un ambiente libero da restrizioni mentali e sicuro. Per questo credo che il Counselling possa aiutare a ritrovarsi e a capire meglio se stessi, la direzione che si vuole prendere e ció che ci circonda.
Il mio é un approccio integrato che mi permette di usare diversi metodi teorici a seconda del bisogno individuale del cliente.
Faccio parte della British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) e della Federation of Drug & Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) e condivido i loro principi etici e professionali.
Pratico a Herne Hill, vicino Brixton nel sud di Londra
Member organisations
Registered / Accredited
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
