About me

I am a qualified psychotherapist offering psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples in Bath. I have experience working in the NHS as a psychotherapist, but now work in private practice. I am a full clinical member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

I believe it is crucial to create an environment where you feel safe to talk; somewhere that you can bring all of yourself. I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space where we can explore you feelings, motivations, anxieties and fears.

Common issues that bring individuals into counselling and psychotherapy include depression ranging from low self esteem to self loathing and a sense of badness at the core of oneself, anxiety, including generalised anxiety disorder and panic disorder, sexual problems, overeating, inability to form or maintain close relationships, loneliness, rejection, loss including bereavement, divorce and relationship breakdown. Common relationship issues that bring couples into therapy include difficulties communicating including not feeling listened to or understood and repetitive arguments that never get resolved, affairs, problems with sex, money, housework and in-laws.
