About me

I am an HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist experienced in working with children and young people, families and adults in the surrey and south west london area.

I am currently working in the charity sector, alongside private practice. I have worked across a variety of settings including adult mental health services, children and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and neuro rehabilitation.

I work with adults, children and families at either my consulting room in Farnham Surrey or in their homes across Surrey and South London (children and families only).

Difficulties I can help with:

I believe in working in a respectful and strength focused way, to help people to feel better and live a life that is rich and meaningful. Whilst I see everyone I work with as unique individuals and not in terms of a label or diagnosis, people often come to therapy with difficulties that are sometimes referred to in the following ways:

  • Depression, low mood or feeling sad
  • Anxiety, panic, phobias or worry
  • Stress
  • Anger or other emotional problems
  • Attachment problems
  • Behavioural problems in children and young people
  • Sleeping difficulties
  • Adjustment following stroke or brain injury
  • Relationship issues

If you are unsure if I can help, I would invite me to give me a call and talk it over on the phone. If I'm not the best person to help, I will always try and recommend the right service or professional for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a clinical psychologist, I am able to draw on a range of psychological approaches to suit the needs of the individual or family. The approaches that I use most frequently are systemic therapy, narrative therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT).

Alongside private practice, I currently work in a neuro rehabilitation service for people experiencing brain injury, stroke and other neurological conditions. Previously I have worked in a specialist NHS services for young people identified as showing antisocial behaviour and adults diagnosed as having “personality disorder”. I also have experience working in mainstream NHS mental health services for adults, children and young people.
