About me
Throughout the Covid19 crisis I am offering online sessions
I am an experienced Counsellor and therapist, I specialise in Individual and Couple Counselling. I am also an experienced Hypnotherapist and I can help with stop smoking, public speaking, and insomnia as well many other problems associated with stress, anxiety and depression.
I am also an experienced ME / CFS counsellor .
My aim is to help you understand where you come from and help you find who you are and how your past can affect the present, and through knowledge comes change.
My heart as a counsellor is to empower you to find the answers and help you find peace and balance which will help you to journey back to life and relationships.
My Training is firmly based on Psychodynamic principals of which I trained at Cambridge University, however experience has shown me that no two people are the same and so I always try to understand the needs of my clients and work accordingly. I have extensive knowledge of Life Coaching, Mediation, and CBT.
You can expect that when you contact me I will treat you with respect and warmth and empathy as an individual and as someone who has found the courage to want to change I love my work as a therapist and I think that this shows in the work that I do and success that I have seen with my clients.

I have a CPCAB Certificate for Counselling Skills
I have a CPCAB Certificate for Counselling Theory
I have an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.
I have a Certificate for Couples Counselling.
I am a trainer in counselling and have taken and experienced a vast and wide range of courses. I continue to attend professional development courses in accordance with BACP guidelines and adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practise in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have attended the Dr John Butler Course for Hypnosis at hti.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
