Fleur Newton-Edwards (Diploma In Counselling)
I am a fully qualified counsellor and I'm able to provide a safe, confidential environment for people to speak, to feel, to be heard and valued as an individual in what can be a scary and challenging world.
I have experience of working with people with a wide range of concerns. Some examples include loss and grief, depression, anxiety, relationships, work related concerns, self-esteem, confidence issues, general growth and personal development. I find this work really rewarding and a privilege.
My main way of working is based on the Transactional Analysis model and I am also able to use a wide range of techniques and theories, tailoring my approach to suit you. Some examples include NLP, CBT, EFT, Mindfulness, creative sand-tray. I pride myself on being able to provide a service that is really individually tailored to my client.
In addition to a more typical counselling role, I am able to offer hypnotherapy. I find this can work well in conjunction with counselling.
I'm happy to support individuals over eighteen years of age and couples on a face-to-face basis for short, medium or long term therapy.
