Profile

There are times in most people's lives when we might feel we could benefit from talking to someone. I offer an opportunity for you to explore your concerns in a safe, confidential and non judgemental setting. I am a degree qualified counsellor. My private practice is based at the Trinity Centre in Colchesters town centre. I also work for CARA (The centre for action on rape and abuse). Working mainly from a person centred approach, I will offer you a therapeutic relationship where you will be met with warmth, honesty and a genuine commitment to understanding you and helping you to explore your difficulties. I am a member of the BACP and work in accordance with their guidelines. I have experience with all sorts of emotional difficulties, particularly lesbian, gay and bisexual issues, rape and abuse, bereavement and relationship issues. I am also a qualified EFT practitioner which can help with trauma and phobias.
An introductory session with no commitment is suggested to find out if I am the right therapist for you.
