Fiona Riley Reg. Member BACP
Are you feeling overwhelmed and wondering how you are going to get through the difficulties you are facing? Contact me today and we can have a discussion about how I can help.
We all go through these challenging and difficult times when we need help and support. It is at times like these that counselling can be of great benefit, helping us to make positive changes in our thinking and our lives.
Finding the right counsellor can be tricky. I offer a safe, relaxed, understanding and confidential environment where I will listen with acceptance and empathy and without judgement; where we can explore even the hardest of issues.
Training, qualifications & experience
As well as running a private practice, I also work with charities and organisations providing person-centred counselling in a range of settings.
I have the following qualifications specific to counselling:-
- Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
- Certificate in Awareness in Bereavement Care
- Certificate in Counselling Skills
- Certificate in Counselling Studies
I am a Registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) using their ethical framework for good practice.

Other areas of counselling I deal with
The first session will be 50 minutes to 1 hour and give us chance to get to know one another at a charge of £35.00. Subsequent sessions will be 50 minutes.
I offer person-centred counselling; being with you in the sessions, beside you on your journey. I won't advise you or tell you what to do, but rather, encourage you to make your own decisions. I believe that everyone has their own in-built capacity for achieving what they really want from life. Sometimes we know where we'd like to be but it can seem like an incomplete jigsaw or a muddle of pieces. I offer you the space to explore your jigsaw in a way that you feel comfortable.
My practice is set in a safe and relaxed environment 2 minutes walk from the local bus route. Free off-road parking is available also.
