Do you want to explore and discuss your anxieties, or any difficulties which you may be experiencing, in a safe and supportive environment? Would it help you to understand more about a period in your life, or past experiences, which may be causing you to feel the way you do?

As a qualified counsellor, I can provide a completely confidential and non-judgemental service.  I am approachable and intuitive and will work with you to get a better understanding of yourself and help you to find ways of dealing with your situation.

Together, we may explore your past experiences and childhood. We’ll also seek emerging patterns or themes in your life, or thoughts and feelings of which you may have been previously unaware.  This may help to explain your present day difficulties and work out where you would like to be as a person.

Everyone is different and the approach used will be based on your individual needs. The sessions will be mainly from a psychodynamic perspective but also integrating other counselling approaches.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I trained at the University of Derby and I am registered with the BACP.  I currently work, on a voluntarily basis, for an NHS workplace counselling service and a Charity counselling survivors' of sexual abuse.
