Hello and welcome,
I work as an integrative counsellor at my home in Yeoford. Qualified in counselling and midwifery, my areas of expertise are women's health and well being. I offer an initial free session where we can discuss your needs and see if I am the right counsellor for you. I believe that it is important for you to feel comfortable with me before we continue.
As an integrative counsellor I use my knowledge of a range of counselling theories and techniques to adapt to your individual needs.
My humanistic approach derives from a belief that we all have an inner drive towards health and well-being, the capacity to take control of our lives and to make positive changes. Sometimes, in life we can get ‘stuck’, and feel that we are not in control. As a counsellor, my job is to get alongside you and to help you to get back on track.
As a counsellor and midwife, my work is based on a confidential, non judgemental and empathic relationship. I am experienced working with 'loss' which includes still births, cot death, miscarriage, terminations and low self esteem. Also previous traumatic deliveries, fertility issues, ongoing pregnancy support, decision making and post natal depression. I am passionate about my work as I know the difference it can make.
I can offer you short and long term support.
