Felicity Oppe. MSc. Systemic Psychotherapy, BSc. Counselling.
89 Fairwater Rd
I offer individual counselling, couple therapy and family therapy from a dedicated counselling room in a house within walking distance from Fairwater Railway Station in Cardiff.
I am registered to work with young people and children and I have several years experience working as a systemic psychotherapist (couple and family therapist) with Action for Children in Caerphilly and Rhondda, Cynon, Taff. I also have experience working within a school setting.
My training and experience means that I can offer a safe, confidential and creative space for individuals, couples and families to explore both long standing difficulties and unexpected and profoundly altering circumstances which are difficult to accept or endure.
My approach is to offer a warm, comfortable, confidential and accepting space which allows you, your partner or your family to talk and to explore the strengths and resources that you have within your relationships that can lead to previously unexplored resolutions.
I have also been trained in mindfulness and non violent resistance and can offer sessions or parts of sessions using these approaches.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP), The Association of Family Therapist and The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapist (UKCP) all of which work to high ethical and professional standards. I was trained at The Family Institute, University South Wales.
My fees start at £30 per hour for individuals, £40 per hour for couples and £50 per hour for families.
I offer reductions for people on low wages or those living on benefits.
