Faye Olliffe MBACP (Accredited) Counsellor, Group Work, Trainer and Researcher.
Newcastle Upon Tyne
I offer counselling and psychotherapy to adults, couples and young people. I offer a space in the Durham and Newcastle. I am also flexible with regards to working in other areas. I work various different days and times.
Services include training, counselling and I am a researcher. I have seven years of experience working in various settings providing a person-centered approach integrated with gestalt. I do use elements of other models such as cbt to support clients but my core practise is person entered integrated with gestalt.
I work with an approach that every single person has a unique story and deserves to be heard. I work to support people with their individual struggles and difficulties. I really acknowledge how difficult it can be to come to counselling.
I provide a safe of support and catering to each person’s needs. My background is in various settings such the NHS, charities, employment assistant programs, schools, probation services, running groups and supporting people who are estranged from their families.
I have worked providing short and long-term therapy, always giving space to people’s individual needs and hopes from the sessions. I have in my career set up services including setting up referral pathways, discussing needs/outcomes for the services and analysing the effectiveness of the service.
I am a qualified consultant in providing reports on the effectiveness of mental health services. I can provide reports for companies using qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the effectiveness of their services. I do analysis through interviews as well as questionnaires and other methods. I also provide a consultant service for starting up and creating a service as well as support for current services that may want support within mental health services. See www.linkedin.com
