Hi and welcome to my profile.I am a person-centred counsellor gentle in my approach creating an environment which you will feel heard, accepted and understood. I believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is key for counselling to be a success. As a result I deliver the three core skills of empathy, honesty and acceptance allowing my client to feel safe enough to share. It is in this relationship where you will begin to feel truly heard, accepted and understood. A journey where you will feel empowered and experience positive change.
I have a private confidential practice in Edinburgh while counselling on Skype and over the Telephone.

I graduated with a degree in Person Centred Counselling 2009 and have been counselling adults, Young adults and Children at my private practice. I received play therapy training through a nationwide school-based charity and worked with young clients who presented complex issues and backgrounds including bereavement, domestic abuse and parental separation. I have also worked with many secondary school aged children. I have experience counselling adults at my private practice and over the telephone where they received support through their health insurance.
My background has involved me working in the caring field where I have worked with the elderly and infirm, homeless, youths, children and individuals with learning disabilities. I have a natural ability to empathise and have a non judgmentail attitude which inspired me to become a counsellor. I have worked as a counsellor with both children and young adults in schools and continue to work with adults at my private practice In Maidstone.

I charge £20 for our first 1 hour session then £40 after that.
I believe everyone should be able to afford counselling and therefore I do further concessions for students and people on a low income.
