Profile
Equinox is a partnership set up by two experienced and qualified counsellors working from discrete and private consulting rooms in South Warwickshire, Birmingham and Coventry.
We believe that looking after your emotional and psychological well-being, is as important as your physical health. Our aim is to help others to live their lives to the full, emotionally and psychologically, so that they can enjoy and fully function in their
everyday life and have meaningful relationships with others.
Our counsellors are members of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
We provide a range of services including one-to-one, couple and family counselling. Other types of support are also available. We work with a wide range of issues, as well as with people from different backgrounds, ages (Young people and adults) and abilities. We offer short-term (6-8 weeks) and long-term work.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Our counsellors have degree level qualifications in psychology and biomedical science, and qualified in counselling at the University of Warwick. They have further training and working experience in specialist areas, including mental health, couples and family therapy, young people’s counselling, eating disorders, personality disorders, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and neuro linguistic programming (NLP).
