I use the Psychodynamic approach which is known as insight-orientated therapy. This focuses on the unconscious processes that are manifested in ones present behaviour. My goal is to provide a space where you can work towards an awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behaviour and feelings. Psychodynamic therapy is the oldest of the modern therapies. (Originating from Freuds psychoanalysis.) The work is based in a highly developed and multifaceted theory of human development and interaction. It is an exploration of the effects of the past on your life today, counselling is practical and focused on giving you tools in the here and now.
