I see individuals who are experiencing a variety of problems, from relationship or family issues to phobias/panic attacks and more long-term patterns of behaviour, which have had a detrimental impact on their lives. Therapy often brings understanding to current difficult situations, and frequently enables recovery from painful life events (past or present). People living with depression, phobias, anxiety etc., with therapy, can gain insight into themselves and how they function in the world. With increased self-awareness people are better able to make more effective choices for their lives, improve their wellbeing and most importantly their enjoyment of life.
Initially we will work together to find out what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to achieve from the sessions. I work short and long term and can offer you a safe and confidential space where you feel safe enough to explore and come to terms with what may be troubling you..
I am a fully trained therapist, committed to ongoing training to ensure I am well equipped to work with a range of issues and people.
Please feel free to call or email me with any questions you may have or to arrange an initial meeting.
