About me

Who I Help

I work with adults on a short-term or open-ended basis, providing a confidential space to talk through personal issues. I help individuals to understand and cope with a wide range of emotional difficulties, including trauma, depression, relationship problems, abuse, phobias, eating disorders anxiety/stress (including work related stress) and loss.

The Type of Counselling I Offer

I work using the psychodynamic approach, helping you to become more aware of the unconscious and to help you understand the root cause of your problems and issues. Working together to make more sense of your difficulties, we can help you to find solutions to tackle ongoing or new problems as they arise.

What You Can Expect

You can expect to be listened to without being judged and will be shown respect and empathy. Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually at the same time once or twice weekly at my private practice in the City of London, on Cornhill, near Bank tube station.

What Happens Next

Please feel free to call, text or email me. After having a brief telephone conversation we can arrange for you to come in for an initial assessment. At this assessment I will ask some questions and listen to what has brought you to this point, as well as what you hope to gain from counselling. I will also explain more about how I work and we can decide together if this type of counselling could be helpful for you. If you would like to start counselling, we would agree on a mutually beneficial time for your regular session.
