Emma McClain - Reg.MBACP Psychotherapist/Counsellor
562A Scott Hall Road
I work with cases of stress, depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, sexual abuse, personality disorders and many more areas of concern. Working together we will help you gain a deeper understanding of your concerns and start the process of change in your life.
Most of our issues stem from relationships in one way or another, and so my chosen style of working is relational. This means that we'll actively create a therapeutic relationship and explore ways to interpret, understand and work with your issues.
I've worked with many clients who have complex issues, including the perpetrators and victims of trauma and abuse. Clients' feedback indicate they feel I provide a safe and confidential space to talk, without fear of judgement or persecution.

It can be a daunting task to decide which therapist to work with. The best advice I can give is to arrange an initial assessment session. This way you'll get a feel for how it will be to work with me, and whether I'm the right therapist for you. We'll then consider how best to work together going forward.
Frequency - Weekly sessions as a minimum are recommended.
