Emma McClain - Reg.MBACP Psychotherapist/Counsellor
562A Scott Hall Road
I can offer you appointments to start as quickly as you're ready to - usually within a week or less, and give you a safe space to begin to change, accept or rediscover your life.
I work with people with generalised anxiety disorder and depression, work-related issues, stress, relationship issues, panic, anger, trauma, sexual abuse, personality disorders and many more areas you might be struggling with.
Clients tell me how frightening it is not to feel totally in control of their lives. I'm glad to work with people to be able to restore a sense of order, peace and move forward with understanding and clarity.
I've worked with many clients who have complex issues, including the perpetrators and victims of trauma and abuse. Clients' feedback has shown that they feel I provide a safe and confidential space to talk, without fear of judgement or persecution.
Evidence tells us that the quality of the therapeutic relationship with your Counsellor is vital in healing, so we'll work together to create a safe and calm space where you can share your difficulties without shame or fear.
I usually have 1 or 2 appointments available immediately to begin to support new clients when they make contact or are seeking my help.
Please do get in touch by email or phone and we can begin work to find the relief you need.
