Who am I and what do I offer?
I am an experienced UKCP registered gestalt psychotherapist, with an MA in Gestalt Therapy, and am accredited to work with individuals and with groups.
I am based in Nether Edge in Sheffield, S7, and I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy and counselling to individuals. I also offer group therapy, personal development groups and introductory group training.
Who do I work with?
In my private practice I offer individual therapy for a wide range of issues, and have worked with adult individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. I have experience of working with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bereavement, marital problems, issues around parenting, post natal depression, sexual and physical abuse, bullying, low self-esteem, cultural related issues, career problems, family dynamics, sexuality and eating disorders.
Working with Groups:
Alongside this, I work with groups, often co-facilitating with my colleague, Faisal Mahmood. Groups are usually based in either Sheffield, Birmingham or London. Past groups have included Personal Development weekends, 10 week Personal Development groups, and 'Introduction to Gestalt' workshops aimed at practicing counsellors trained in other modalities. My practice is based on Wostenholm Road, S7. There is free on street parking on Wostenholm and surrounding roads. There is also a bus stop almost directly outside the building (number 3 bus route).
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, accredited to work with Individuals and with Groups. I have a Masters Degree, completed at the Gestalt Centre, London and awarded by the London Metropolitan University. My original core training (2009-2013) was at the Manchester Gestalt Centre (Gestalt Psychotherapy & Training Institute).
My clinical experience includes working in private practice with individuals and groups. Previously I have also worked at Sheffield MIND, at Sheffield Women's Counselling and Psychotherapy Service (SWCTS) and at The Gestalt Centre, London.

My work is confidential and I am in regular supervision with senior UKCP registered supervisors. I take my own psychotherapy and my Continuing Professional Development seriously and often participate in in professional workshops, additional training and relevant conferences. I am fully insured. I follow the UKCP's professional and ethical codes.
