About me

"Together we will find a path that can lead you to a more calm and happier life"

Hello and thank you for taking the time to look through my profile.

Are you struggling at the moment and want to talk to a friendly and professional counsellor? I understand that life can sometimes be tough and we experience upsetting and negative feelings or we sometimes struggle after particular life events whether it be present or in the past. Counselling can help when you are going through difficult times as talking to someone who offers a safe and confidential space can be very beneficial in terms of being able to offload and share your deepest true feelings. I pride myself on being an honest, professional and approachable person who may be able help you during times of need.

I am based in Manchester City Centre and also cover East Manchester such as Tameside and Oldham.

I am a qualified Counsellor and Behavioural Therapist and I have many years of experience working with children, young people and adults.

Due to vast experience and training, I have multiple approaches that I can offer such as Person Centred Counselling, Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy.  From these I can offer more specialist support for families, children, teenagers and professionals. Whatever problems you are experiencing currently, I will offer you a safe and comfortable space in order for us to work through them together.

So how do you access my services?

You can call, text or email me at any time and I will aim respond within a few hours if not immediately. The initial call will be free and you would be under no obligation to access Together Therapy. The initial chat will be an introduction to each other, discussion of current problems and if you decided to go ahead with the counselling we will then decide on a suitable time in order for you to attend your first appointment.

What would be next?

You would then attend your first appointment and we can decide between ourselves how often your sessions will be after that (usually weekly in the first instance but we can do more or less depending on your need). This first session (as with all the sessions) will be a space for you to start offloading and sharing your story with me. The number of sessions a person needs can vary greatly. Some prefer short term (around 7-8 sessions usually) while others prefer to not specify how many they need and work together until they feel ready to end. There is no pressure to specify this in the first few sessions but we can decide together when you are ready.

Further information

I pride myself on being down to earth, honest and real with all of my clients. I am keen to help, support and therefore break down the stigma of mental health as this is something that people do not have to suffer in silence with in my opinion.

It takes courage and braveness for some in order to get help and I would welcome any queries you may have without judgement or any obligations.
