I have over 30 years experience working with and helping children, young, people, families and couples and individual adults facing a range of difficulties. I have worked within a wide range of settings within the public and private sector.
I offer a free telephone consultation to discuss with you whether I can meet your needs for therapy. I work with a close colleague when seeing couples and families as we and families and couples find this helpful.
I currently ALSO work within a specialist Eating Disorders Service within the NHS.
MillerStrang Therapy Services is based at the City Road Therapy Centre, a five minute walk from Angel tube station.
We offer therapy services to families, couples and individuals, as well as clinical supervision and consultation to professionals
The benefits of Systemic Psychotherapy (Family Therapy)
All of us face challenges and experience problems from time to time. Sometimes this can put pressure on individuals, relationships and families, affecting the psychological health of all concerned.
Systemic Psychotherapy can be very useful in alleviating a range of problems that individuals and families commonly encounter. MillerStrang therapists can provide help and guidance for those experiencing difficult times.
Systemic Psychotherapy aims to promote understanding and collaboration in relationships and amongst family members. MillerStrang therapists work in partnership with you and are sensitive to diverse family structures, relationships, beliefs and cultures. They will respect the family's and individual's experience and build on the already existing strengths.
At MillerStrang Therapy Service we focus on how the family might work together to bring about positive change, arranging sessions that can be with individual members or with the family as a whole. Systemic Psychotherapy may be used as the primary source of help or used as a complementary approach in conjunction with other support.
