Emily Gibson MBACP Registered
I am a professionally qualified counsellor based in the Whitchurch area of Cardiff. I offer a warm, safe and confidential space in which to explore any aspects of your life.
I have been trained using an integrative approach which means I can draw on a range of different counselling theories and modalities depending on your individual need.
I have experience working with loss, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, fertility issues, body image anxieties, bullying, relationship problems and on-going health concerns among others...
My role as your counsellor is to walk along side you with the aim of enabling you to explore any aspects of your life and feelings, by talking openly and freely. It is my role to help provide you with the opportunity to express difficult and troubling feelings in a confidential environment.
I see our sessions together as a collaborative process whereby we both work together, so that you feel heard, with the ultimate aim of our sessions being about allowing you to make your own choices, reach your own decisions, come to your own conclusions and move forward with your life accordingly.
