Profile
I am a professional counsellor who offers a safe, nonjudgmental environment for my clients to talk through their experiences and problems in order to work together towards a resolution. I have training in a number of different therapeutic approaches and can tailor my work to suit your needs.
I have experience working with issues such as anxiety, low self esteem, eating disorders, sexual and domestic abuse, anger management, depression, addictions, trauma, stress, infertility, relationship difficulties and egg and sperm donation.
I'm a strong believer that the therapeutic relationship works best when both parties are comfortable with one another so I offer a free initial meeting, with no further obligation, to help you decide whether you think counselling with me will be helpful.
I work both on an open-ended basis and for an agreed time period. I have regular supervision, am fully insured and abide by the ethical guidelines of the BACP, ITA and European Association of Transactional Analysis, of which I am a member.
My practice is a comfortable and relaxed space on Stone Street which is centrally located between Brighton and Hove. It's close to the Western Road and is easily accessible on a number of bus routes.
