Ellen Waldren Registered Accredited MBACP, Supervisor
I specialise in anxiety and associated disorders, such as panic attacks, phobias, and OCD. Anxiety can be difficult to overcome without help. I often hear clients say that they are struggling, battling or fighting anxiety. Expending all that energy to try and feel better often fuels anxiety. I will help you make friends with your anxiety, lessen its power and enable you to enjoy a less stressful life.
If you are housebound due to your anxiety I can offer you telephone counselling or Skype counselling, to start the process of getting back out into the world.
I am an BACP accredited counsellor, which means I have gone through a rigorous process to establish that I fulfill the criteria to practice. Accreditation is now a benchmark for the NHS and other major organisations. So you can feel assured that I am able to offer you safe, non judgmental, empathic and honest counselling.
I am a Mindfulness Practitioner, which can be beneficial to those who find it difficult to sleep, relax or enjoy life.
I am happy to talk to you on the phone so you can ask any questions you have, we can make an appointment for you to find out if I am the right counsellor for you. The first session is an assessment for us to see if we can work together.

It won't always be an easy relationship as counselling is often difficult, challenging and uncomfortable. Having said that it can be profound, meaningful and inspiring.
