Elizabeth Snell MBACP ELM Counselling
Hi, my name is Liz....Sometimes, life can feel complicated and stressful. We may not always want to burden our family or friends with our worries, but we would like someone to talk to and to listen.
That's where I can help....I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists). I can offer a non-judgemental, confidential, supportive space where, between us, we can explore your difficulties and dilemmas.
I Hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I have training in CBT, Creative Therapy,Mindfullness, Solution Focused Therapy, Relationship and Family Therapy. This training enables me to draw on other counselling approaches to facilitate your individual needs.
I believe that you as the client know yourself much better than anyone else, sometimes our thoughts and feelings can become tangled like a ball wool, and we just need a safe non-judgemental space to explore these thoughts and feelings and start to untangle them, which in turn can lead to clarity.
I have my own private practice in Chesham and I am also employed as a counsellor in schools.
In addition to my private work, I also volunteer at Way In, www.way-in.org.uk/ and in the past I have also volunteered with Place2be www.place2be.
I have regular monthly supervision as required by the BACP.
