I am a fully qualified counsellor with a wide range of experience working with youths aged 12+ and adults. In addition to my private practice, I also work for the Youth Counselling Service (NHS VirginCare) and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
My aim is to work alongside you in a calm and non-judgmental way, helping you to gain a better understanding of emotional difficulties and exploring with you ways you might wish to make changes to, or come to terms with, your personal situation. I work in a way that is centred around you and it is therefore for you to decide what you wish to discuss in counselling.
I offer a free of charge initial 30 minute consultation to talk about your counselling requirements and to see if we feel we can work together. You can also email me with any questions you may have about counselling.
I would encourage weekly sessions initially and we would review our work together on a regular basis to monitor progress. I have availability to see clients on Tuesday evenings or during the day at the beginning of the week. I am based at offices at The Eaves, in both Farnham and Godalming.
I strongly believe in the power we all have within ourselves to grow and make a difference in our lives. Counselling can also be a way of exploring coping techniques to help with stressful or overwhelming situations now and in the future.
As a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, I adhere to their strict code of ethics.
