About me

My name is Eliza Kopalak. I am a qualified psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, and groups online. I have extensive experience supporting adults, who are facing all kinds of challenges and issues related to anxiety, self-esteem, body symptoms, relationships, career, failure/success concepts, emotional struggles, sexuality, meaning, loss of meaning, loss, and more.

My Approach

My approach is integrative with the transpersonal perspective. I work with the physical, emotional, mental, and broader cultural, and social dimensions we exist.  In my work, I focus on process, and potential and facilitate access to wisdom and intuition, healthy self-esteem, and an authentic and bold sense of self.

We are often stuck with the way we act and see ourselves and our place in the world, we become identified with ideas, and beliefs we grew up with. These concepts are imprinted in our minds and, only when we realize them, can we set ourselves free.

In the process of therapy, I question and challenge the way you look at things, to arrive at a new perspective. I work with symptoms, images, imagination, and dreams to access your deeper unconscious, your shadow. This is how you can discover your potential and become who you really are.

'No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. Albert Einstein

In a compassionate, empathic, and non-judgmental space, I will hold, support, and lead you on your journey. I encourage you to give yourself a chance and take the first step.

First Steps

After initial contact by e-mail, we will arrange a session as soon as we can. Our first meeting is a time to get to know each other. It is an opportunity to ask questions about the process of counselling and for us to explore what brings you to therapy at this moment.

I offer ongoing weekly, 50 min sessions.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
