About me

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist offering individual therapy and couples counselling in Central and South West London.

I have experience of working in a variety of mental health settings both in Italy and the UK, including the Wimbledon Guild, Anxiety UK and the Anna Freud Centre.

I work with people experiencing a variety of issues such as suffering from severe anxiety and depression, sexual and relationship issues, or lack of self-confidence; as well as with people who are going through a difficult time in their lives as a result of life changes or transitions.

Counselling and psychotherapy provide professional support during challenging times, helping you build the tools for a positive change in your life. In my experience having a space where difficulties can be talked about is very important and gives great support.

I offer a safe and non-judgemental space where issues can be explored, getting to the root of the problem whilst building long lasting resources. Counselling also helps to develop self-awareness, greater authenticity and helps become more conscious of unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour; resulting in long-lasting change.

My approach is integrative and Jungian-based, and I tailor my way of working to each individual client, as no-one person is the same. I engage with my clients through a relational and creative approach.

First steps:
If you are thinking of starting therapy, the first step is to get in touch with me and arrange an initial session. If you want to know more about my practice before the first meeting, I can offer a free enquiry telephone conversation to answer any questions you may have. In the first session we will discuss what is bringing you to counselling and decide whether we can work together to support you. Thereafter sessions usually take place once weekly. I work both long and short term.

I offer sessions in English, Italian and French. I am a provider with Axa and Aviva private health insurances.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
