I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and highly experienced in offering both individual and group Therapy.
I believe that modern day living presents us all with different challenges, and most of these challenges are often around relationship issues, whether they be personal or work related. These can have a negative impact and adversely affect other areas of our lives. This is where Therapy comes into play!
I am passionate about ‘making a difference’, and firmly believe in the process of change. That’s why I do what I do, and I feel extremely privileged when I see evidence of change with the people I support.
People can and do change, especially if they are understood, respected and empowered to consider alternative ways of thinking, feeling or behaving. That’s what Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is all about.
I have vast experience of dealing with all kinds of people, who present with all kinds of problems and I am highly confident in my ability to help people effect positive change. I have a proven track record of Project Management within the Voluntary Sector and a lengthy Civil Service career behind me.
I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) and have regular supervision within the required BABCP guidelines.
I am also registered with Disclosure Scotland.
