Edileusa Akinsiku MA; MBACP (Reg.) Experienced Psychotherapist and counsellor
07775123307 / 07775 123 307
Before I tell you about me, it is very important to talk about us.
Call me counsellor, psychotherapist or facilitator. The most important thing is our relationship. Trust, confidentiality and love is the key to create a secure environment, to explore together any overwhelming situation.
My focus will be on you and the struggles you going through, which may be leaving you anxious, depressed, fearful, or confused with a mixture of different feelings.
Do not fight alone. Come and share the emotional weight you are carrying with me, in a safe, discreet, non-judgemental and supportive environment. Do not let the past experiences enslave you, instead face them and re-create your own life story, as a super hero.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have BSc(Hons) in psychology, MA in psychotherapy and counselling. I am BACP(Registered) and the director of Recreate Psychotherapy and Counselling. Having worked with adults and couples for 13 years in diverse settings such as the NHS, church and private practise, I have developed a wide breath of experience helping clients with a whole variety of problems. Depression, anxiety and fears are some of the effects of life’s adversity. Some subjected to sexual abuse, others struggling with pornography , still others suffering with unacceptable loss of a loved one or body image and rejection issues.
Research demonstrates that talking to an impartial, trained and experienced listener helps people improve their mental and physical health, restore relationships, granting them a healthier life style, and a brighter future.
I offer you a safe space, where your life story will be listened to with confidentiality and respect.
You can choose to have your session either in English or Portuguese.
