Profile

1 in 4 people have mental health problems at some point in their lives.

At the Health & Wellbeing Clinic we are committed to helping people overcome or manage these difficulties, to free their potential to be happy and fulfilled.

We recognise that well-being means more than the absence of mental health problems. Therefore we also offer services to promote health, fitness, confidence, self esteem and personal success.

The Health And Wellbeing Clinic is staffed by a dedicated group of fully trained and accredited professionals committed to providing the highest quality of assessments and treatments for a full range of issues affecting health and well-being

We offer on-line support nationwide, and face to face sessions in Cheshire, Derbyshire and Greater Manchester.

Services include:

Mental Health Services for children and adults. We work with children, adults, couples and families to help you overcome or manage problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias,  OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, low self esteem and problems coping with stressful life events such as bereavement, family breakdown, bullying and work or school based problems. Dr Ivings is trained in motivational interviewing, the leading treatment for addictions as well as for people struggling to cope with complex or stressful medical treatment.

Health and fitness are fundamental to well-being. We therefore offer services to help you lose weight, stop smoking, gain fitness and confidence and achieve personally meaningful goals.

Parenting is highly rewarding but can also be stressful, painful and challenging. We are there to support and advise parents on issues such as feeding, sleeping and behavioural difficulties from toddlers to teens.

We also offer parenting support and therapy services to promote strong relationships between parents   /carers and children. This is crucial for well-being as a foundation of health and well-being comes from the ability to make and maintain positive relationships with friends, colleagues, partners, parents and children. These skills are learned during our earliest interactions as babies and children within families.
