I am non-judgmental in my approach and always have clients at the centre of all work that is undertaken. I have extensive experience of working with young people adults, couples and families.
I am integrative in my approach and use various techniques and creative media and I work in a way that best suits you.

Functional Family Therapist 2013- 2014
As well as a humanistic counsellor, I am also trained as a systemic practitioner, this is an approach that works with families and those who are in close relationships to foster change. These changes are viewed in terms of the communication and interaction between each person in the family or relationship. The aim of therapy is to work on these problems by encouraging family members and loved ones to help and empathise with each other. Families are given the opportunity to understand and appreciate each other's needs, build on family strengths and ultimately make useful changes in their lives and relationships.
I am also a trained Functional Family Therapist, this work fits with families with children 11-18 years old. Some of the areas that I work with are sexual exploitation, substance misuse, anti-social behaviour and family dynamics. Working on the family strengths and finding the positives in how the family has been functioning.
