Denny Stranders MBACP Reg, Accred.
I am a qualified and experienced accredited Counsellor having trained for 4 years in Psychodynamic theory. However, over the years of working and additional training I have received I would describe my counselling style as Integrative which is encouraging, warm, collaborative, practical, hopeful and tailored to the individual.
I specialise in short term focused work as I work for a well known mental health charity (within the NHS) which is both time-limited and open ended. However, I am trained and experienced in long term therapy. I also work in private practice and am an Associate Counsellor undertaking EAP work with various organisations. I offer clinical (Integrative) Supervision to groups and individual qualified counsellors and trainees.
I am also a Senior Practitioner Coach having undertaken the Therapist2Coach programme (BACP accredited) and can incorporate solution focused techniques into our work together if required and/or appropriate.
I provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for people to explore their issues and gain insight into their situation to find a way forward.
I am also happy to be contacted by people who have tried therapy in the past and have felt disillusioned by their experience.
Please feel free to contact me with no obligation - should you wish to find out more..
