Hi, I'm Denise, I'm an integrative therapeutic counsellor, and I truly believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is vital to any successful counselling and as such, my relaxed approach will create a calm atmosphere for you to truly feel safe and begin to explore your issues.
Everyone is different and it is my role to help you explore whatever is troubling you and to find how you can best move forward in your life. Whether you are suffering from anxiety, depression, have addiction or relationship problems. feeling sad or are simply stuck and do not know where to go next, I offer a non-judgemental, safe space for you to explore areas for concern and enable you to find your way in the world again.I work creatively, drawing on various therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs.By listening and gently challenging, together we will find out what is really going on for you and what is needed for you live a better life..
You have the answer, I simply help you to find your own inner strength to tackle your issues.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling.
I trained at Place2Be, working long-term with children, and West London Centre for Counselling, where I worked post qualification, delivering short term individual counselling, up to 12 weeks.

£50 per 50 minute session (some concessions available for students and unemployed).
I am currently a tutor,and teach CPCAB Counselling courses at City & Islington College and CPTA. I also teach counselling and psychology courses at Citylit.
