Private practice offers an analytical space to process disturbance and distress of any kind. i integrate all my experience and knowledge for your benefit. I provide a secure base to facilitate, painful emotions and memories, to enable grieving and repair, leading to recovery and positive present day functioning and a hopeful future.

For supervisees i offer a creative symbolic space to facilitate your ongoing learning.

For children and adolescents i have a wide experience working with psychological , behavioural and emotional problems. I work creatively using sandtray therapy, play therapy and art as therapy mediums but can also use CBT therapy and longer term psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Registered General and Paediatric Nurse specialised in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Currently specialised in creative ways of working with children and adolescents eg Sandtray Therapy. Art as Therapy and Play Therapy.

Registered and accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. EMDR accredited practitioner. Sandtray trained practitioner and Qualified Supervisor specialising in Creative Methods.,.

Experienced in working with a wide range of conditions eg Depression , Trauma, Bereavement, Anxiety, Anger and Anger Management.   Individual face to face sessions for Children ,Adolescents And Adults.

I am trained to work at a deeper level with people, addressing developmental childhood problems which impact on adulthood.

Supervision practice open to trained and trainee practitioners. Currently running an evolving creative supervision group .

Educated to Masters Level in both Psychotherapy Qualifications.

Fees

£40 per session. £35 per session for supervision for trainees.  £60 for trained staff for 1and half hours. £40 for 2 hours in creative supervision group on a monthly basis.

I offer reduced rates on a sliding scale depending on circumstances eg if you were attending for long term psychotherapy.

Further Information

I live in a quiet estate with a lovely view of Knocklayde mountain, and there is a fabulous beach that you might enjoy visiting before or after your session.

Parking is free and outside house and my consultation room is outside and has no stairs. It is very private and comfortable.
