What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy refers to a therapeutic process between a trained professional with a person. It aims to improve an individual’s sense of well- being and functioning. Psychotherapy is usually conducted over a longer period and can explore more deep rooted problems perhaps stemming from childhood and can help resolve complicated family dynamics. Overall it helps to evolve the personality and resolve issues that have perhaps led to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and self-harm behaviours.
What is Integrative psychotherapy?
Integrative Psychotherapy combines theory and practice of different models and trainings. In my practice I combine my trainings of Analytical therapy and Behavioural therapy with my knowledge and experience of working creatively with the unconscious and with symbolism.
For children and adolescents and adults I have vast experience working with psychological, behavioural and emotional problems. I work creatively using sandtray therapy, play therapy and art as therapy mediums but can also use other models like CBT and Humanistic Psychotherapy.
