Denise James. MA, PGDip, MBACP
Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety and depression, unsure as to where your life is heading? Perhaps you keep finding yourself in the same unhealthy situations again and again, unsure of how you got there or how you can change things? We can reach crisis points at any stage in our lives, and this can leave us feeling helpless and anxious. Whatever issues you are facing, talking to a professional, highly trained counsellor could help.
I am an experienced Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, trained to Masters degree level. I tailor the work with my clients to their own specific issues and experience, rather than using a ‘one theory fits all’ approach. The therapy I offer is also warm and person centered, giving you a chance to talk about how you feel with someone who is fully trained, experienced and non judgemental, and who will work with and support you to resolve the issues that bring you to therapy.
I have over 10 years experience of providing psychotherapy and counselling to a wide range of clients and have worked in a variety of settings including health care, further education establishments, with victims of abuse and clients strugging with addiction. In addition, I see clients in my private practice.
I have produced and provided workshops to clients, facilitated group therapy, couples and family sessions.
