Welcome to my page, I am a long standing professionally qualified and Accredited counsellor/supervisor. I provide a safe non-judgemental supportive and confidential space in which you can explore any problems and difficulties that you may be experiencing. I have experiance of working in many areas, inculding Anxiety, Anger, Abuse, Relationship & Family Issues, Victims of Crime and Health Care professionals.
So what is Counselling?
Counselling is about exploring and empowerment. To understand what may be happening to you in your life, in a safe, confidential and non judge-mental way. Counsellors are also trained to look beyond presenting problems to possible underlying causes. The aim of the therapeutic process is to enable clients to better understand and accept themselves, to change feelings and behaviour which is more productive, rewarding and to help move towards becoming the kind of person you are or want to be.
Counselling can help to:
- enable people to resolve problems or at least come to terms with them
- make sense of your life experiences
- gain insight into why you are like you are
- raise self-esteem
- become more confident
- feel less hurt by past emotional situations
- make changes within yourself
- take more control of your life
- promote a sense of well-being.
I offer all prospective clients an assessment interview. This provides both of us with the opportunity of deciding whether we wish to work together.
My Practice is in Bishopstoke, which is in easy reach of Eastleigh, Southampton, and close to the M27 and M3, off road parking is also available.
I am a qualified Supervisor and offer Supervision to Students, Counsellors, Groups and Health Care Professionals.
