  • AQA Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
  • BSc (Hons) Combined Social Science (Psychology & Sociology) FIRST CLASS
  • Level 3 Advice & Guidance

The type of counselling I do is mainly CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) as a core model. I work with a range of issues including general anxiety, social anxiety, depression, panic, family and relationship issues, self-harm, suicide risk, sleep issues, bereavement and loss, anger, stress, behavioural issues and bullying.

I have a Degree in Psychology and Sociology (BSc Hons in Combined Social Science – First Class). I have also done other relevant training such as Advice and Guidance, Safeguarding (Adults and Children), Suicide Risk and Health and Safety at Work.

I have been volunteering as a Counsellor in a local secondary school since January 2015, which has led to some work with Children’s Social Care and have been volunteering in supported housing for over 2 years as a Counsellor. I also have over 5 years experience working in supported housing as a Key Worker and Project Director working with young people.
