Multiple Sclerosis Society
My name is Debbie, I am a qualified person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist working within private practice in Norwich and the Broadlands area of Norfolk.
My training and experience spans over 18 years and as a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I subscribe to their ethical framework and code of practice. The areas I have worked within cover a wide range and include; childhood sexual abuse, bereavement, anxiety and depression.
Counselling is about you, and by creating a space for thought it enables that all important opportunity to talk about anything which causes concern. My role as the counsellor is to therapeutically facilitate this process, helping you to discover and explore the blocks to your happiness, where you can learn about you, and determine the best way through. Counselling is the opportunity to discuss issues that may be difficult to share with loved ones and other people around you.
