About me

Welcome To My Profile

Experienced Counselling Professional, Clinical Supervisor and Grief Specialist

With over a decade of experience I use an Integrative, IFS, IFIO and Body Based approach when supporting my Clients and supervisees. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce balance and self-leadership. I support building a platform for you to learn more about yourself and specialise in educating Grief Awareness.

Get to Know Me

Experienced. Accredited. Supportive.

I focus on getting people to know themselves and have more Self-leadership. I integrate an IFS (Internal Family Systems - Level 3 qualified) and IFIO (Intimacy From the Inside Out - Advanced Level qualified) model alongside working with the body. Prior to becoming a Mental Health Professional I worked within Physical Fitness as an Advanced Fitness Instructor and Exercise Referral Specialist. With this experience I use a body-mind approach to support the whole of you holistically. I work with adults aged 18 years and over and believe nature and movement supports our wellbeing and can be excellent resources in connecting us more with who we are and the environment and world around us.

What I Offer

Integrative therapy offers an individual look in to you, drawing on different Counselling approaches and finds which suits you and your needs.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental approach with long term, open ended or short term brief support available.

If you feel lonely or not listened to, I can offer you the support you are looking for.

Experience:

With over 10 years of Clinical Counselling experience I have extensive understanding of working in Mental Health and Hospice (Palliative Care) organisations in senior leadership roles. I have been supervising teams in multi-disciplinary agencies for many years and have worked with many different healthcare professionals including: Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychological Therapists, Nurses, Chaplains, Social Workers and Complementary Therapists.

I am dedicated and disciplined when it comes to new ways of thinking and include cutting edge material in my work. When it comes to working with grief I believe each individual must be ready to engage with the work this experience can bring, I use a Continuing Bonds and legacy framework holding in mind that although the person may have died, our love for them does not.

I am passionate about learning and development. I have my own Clinical Supervision and personal therapy to support me being the best version of myself in order to support others. I believe animals support our co-regulation and have trained my own pet as a Therapy Dog.
