About me

I understand how hard the first step can be to ask for help, sometimes you just want to be heard and feel listened too ....you may be feeling depressed, anxious, angry, or frustrated with moving your life forward....You may be feeling confused, and unsure about where your life is heading........

As a sex and relationship therapist, also known as a psychosexual therapist and counsellor... I aim to provide an open space where people can discuss, and explore their intimate concerns and experiences in a non judgemental way. I work with both couples, individuals and multiple partnered people, whilst honouring all sexual orientations and practices.

People that are experiencing sexual, emotional or deeper relationship issues, contact me to explore and understand what they can change and control, and also what patterns are repeating in their relationships. I am a sex positive therapist and have over 20 years extensive experience as a counsellor.

I studied sexology for a further 2 years to gain a deeper understanding of human sexual life and relationships. Clinical sexology is a term to describe psychosexual and relationship therapy.

I also specialise in providing therapy for people with ADHD, Autism or have recently had an ADHD diagnosis, or suspect they are Neurodiverse. Additionally I provide coaching and therapy support for ND relationships where one or both are ND or where one maybe NT and are in a love relationships.

I work with sexual dysfunctional problems, and help my clients achieve the relationship, love and life they desire... intimacy and bonding can help couples through times when sexual issues occur and that people want to be great lovers, enjoy pleasure by taking positive steps in rebuilding a great sex life, be intimate & reconnect...

I have a warm, positive and practical down to earth approach, providing a blend of therapy approaches, tailoring the therapy to you as an individual. Using different approaches appropriately and at the right time will enable you to quickly start to gain benefit from the therapy process.

There is an abundance of life paths for you to create and follow, aiming for you to move forward in your life,  it would be a privilege to work with you.

I look forward to meeting you…..

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Happiness Concern

I decided to call my practice The Happiness Concern as I think this reflects the blend of counselling and coaching approaches I use. Blending together the practical and dynamic approach of coaching, NLP which stands for Neuro-Linguistic-Programming, and positive psychology, alongside the caring and reparative healing approach of counselling.

I am passionate about enabling people to find their own life of happiness that is sustaining and lasting, helping them move forward, in a practical and real way. The Happiness Concern ethos is to help people have the internal resources, choices and confidence to move forward in their life.
