Dawn Corrigan MBACP (Registered) Dip Couns, Dip CH, CPNLP, CMH
We all need that extra support from time to time. Counselling can help you to identify the causes and patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour which have created difficulties in your life. It helps you to explore the motivations behind your unwanted feelings and behaviour
Counselling helps build your self-awareness and using CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and other techniques, together we can work on ways of dealing with your emotional difficulties and relationships and help you to move forward in life
One of my specialities is working with anxiety. Anxiety can often be hard to control as it’s an unconscious response to a perceived threat. This is an area I work in a lot. I can help you get to the root of the issue and help you devise coping strategies to help calm your fight or flight response.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by its code and ethics of good practice.
I have current Criminal Records Bureau clearance (CRB) (DBS)
