Profile
I offer short and long term individual and couples therapy in both North and Central London, and I also run an ongoing monthly men's group, with an emphasis on support and challenge to empower men to make the changes they want to make.
I believe that everyone has the ability to discover the solutions to their own problems by developing more self awareness through our unfolding therapeutic relationship.
I came into the field following my own experiences of counselling in the 1990's and understand the benefits of talking therapies because of these experiences. I believe that counselling can help us to heal and to overcome difficult life experiences and to move forward with our lives.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I trained for five years at the Gestalt Centre in London, achieving a Masters degree in psychotherapy and a UKCP accredited practitioner diploma. I am both UKCP and BACP accredited and have been working in private practice since 2006.
I have also worked in many different social care environments over the past ten years, which have included; a GP's surgery, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, adolescent care and adult mental health services.
