I view counselling as a supportive, collaborative, creative process that facilitates emotional healing. It is a confidential, safe space where you can feel truly heard. I take a responsible therapeutic stance that everything happens in relation, sensitively noticing how you and I relate supports us in making more sense of how you relate to yourself and others. The awareness work I integrate into my practice assists you to have a feel of your own truth, and gently invites you to trust that. By supportively listening to you we can collaboratively reflect upon the difficulty you're experiencing and creatively explore how you are and how you may move forward.
I pay sensitive attention to difference, an appreciation of diversity is central to my practice and fundamental to my personal life.
To book an initial session just email me or leave me a message. It is a chance for you and I to see what brings you to counselling and explore the possibility of working together. If you then decide to continue we agree on a set of sessions and review this as we go along.

I’m a professionally trained and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice. I also attend regular clinical supervision as it is requested by BACP guidelines.
I have experience working with people whose difficulties are around their identities as well as with people whose identities are completely incidental to what they wish to seek support for. I’m currently part of the East London Out Project, where I see LGBTQ+ people for initial sessions.
