I offer a warm and caring environment where individuals and or couples can explore what is of concern to them be it anxiety, depression, lack of self-worth or, more tangible concerns of bereavement, divorce, sexual orientation etc.
My aim is to help clients to feel more at ease in themselves and to enable them to go forward in their lives in a more rewarding way. This may be getting them through current or past trauma of whatever nature; supporting them in recovering from an addiction; bereavement or separation issues; and then to venturing with them to a more positive view of their personal future.
I work with both individuals and couples, mainly work from home, but i am able to work from a therapy room in Minehead or Porlock if required.
When a client first contacts me, we have a chat over the phone as to what they would like from counselling, and then if it suits, we will make an appointment for an initial session. This will be for 50 minutes. At that first meeting, the client will decide whether or not to proceed with the work, and, if appropriate, we will work out a time scale.
