Profile
Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Criseyde (also known as Cris), and I am a HPC registered and BPS chartered Counselling Psychologist with clinical experience within the NHS (primary, secondary and expert care), Charity and Private Organisations.
As a counselling psychologist I offer supervision, counselling and psychotherapy using evidence based therapies tailored to your individual needs. Our relationship will be built upon trust, in a safe, supportive and confidential environment where change can be facilitated.
I offer psychological therapy to children, adolescents and adults, including couples and families on short term, time limited and long term arrangements. Specialities include bereavement, trauma, suicidal thoughts, issues with relationships and emotional and behavioural concerns.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your requirements and agree a way forward. This involves a brief assessment and history, it gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have about therapy and provides you with an introduction to the therapeutic relationship.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
My experience is diverse and wide ranging including; adult mental health (including Veterans) ranging from stress and anxiety to complex and enduring problems, difficulties coping with physical health and injury, unresolved childhood issues, child, adolescents and family therapy.
