Corrina Parkinson- Reg. MBACP, Prof.Dip.Couns
I am an approachable, experienced and fully qualified Counsellor, who has worked in a variety of counselling settings, including Broadway Lodge 12 step Rehabilitation Centre. I am currently working part time for the NHS at Southmead Hospital. I am passionate about counselling and what it can achieve. I believe that people sometimes go through difficult times when they need emotional support. The clients I see receive respect and empathy whatever their issues. I work with a wide range of problems including abuse, addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, work stress, low self esteem, and relationship problems.
I work from home in a comfortable private therapy room, situated in a small village outside of Weston super Mare. I can offer flexible appointment times to fit in with client's busy life styles. This includes weekends, evenings as well as daytime appointments.
Whether you are looking for someone to talk to about things you feel you cannot share with anyone else, are in a crisis point in life and need emotional support, require a confidential space to explore unresolved past experiences or memories, are maintaining addiction recovery and seek ongoing individual work, need an opportunity to reflect on your current situation in order to move forward, or fancy getting to know yourself better as part of personal development; counselling is a way forward with these goals.
