‘What you resist persists’ in Jung’s words, but what you accept and absorb dissolves. Much of therapy is about letting go of what is causing us to suffer, but first there must be understanding. By increasing your awareness, therapy will help create space, space to heal and space to change.
My name is Connie. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, with experience in helping clients with all manner of problems; I will provide a safe, non-judgmental and empathic environment for us to work in. I have particular interest in depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and confidence, anger, addiction, eating disorders, bipolar disorder and relationship difficulties.
'The wound is where the light comes in' according to Rumi and I strongly believe that the darkest points of our lives provide the manure for the greatest growth and light - sometimes we just need a little help to see a way out.
Please call me on 07740 708 463 or email me using my contact form at the top of my profile to arrange an initial consultation. If you then decide you would like us to continue working together we will meet for weekly sessions for ideally a minimum of six weeks, for short-term therapy, or ongoing for long-term therapy.
