About me

I am a fully qualified UKCP-registered psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor and run a women-only practice. I am interested in all areas relating to a woman's life, from early childhood experiences and trauma, to the smallest of dreams that has gone astray. I work in a creative and integrative way to help women explore their life stories, heal their wounds, and find the path forward that is right for them. I have a special interest in recovery from abuse and sexual trauma and am experienced in working with dissociation and DID. I also work with boarding school syndrome and the specific impact of early abandonment on girls.

As an integrative therapist, my approach will be tailored to your needs. I have also been trained by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes' to use her iconic work Women Who Run With The Wolves in my practice and offer long and short-term one-to-one programmes to explore your story using myths and archetypes.

I offer private one-to-one sessions, usually online and am also a recognised provider for Axa, Aviva and VitalityHealth insurance providers.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am fully qualified and UKCP registered.

I hold an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University

I hold a Professional Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, BCPC (Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling)

I am a recognised provider for Axa and VitalityHealth insurance providers.

I've been in private practice since 2011, received a Masters Degree in 2017, and have a further 10 years of experience in another psychotherapy modality (Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy).

I hold a certificate from the Archetypal and Cross-Cultural Studies Institute to facilitate and utilise Dr Clarissa Pinkola's Estes' pivotal work Women that Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype in my professional practice with both individuals and groups.

I am a co-founder of the LEAP Method of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy and Learning (EFP/L), an innovative and industry-leading model for utilising horses in psychotherapy, counselling, healing and growth.
