Clare Dundrow (Dip.Couns; Registered Member MBACP)
I am a qualified Counsellor, and a Registered Member of BACP (Registered MBACP).
Are you looking to gain some clarity in a particular area of your life?
Is something stopping you from feeling happy and satisfied?
Perhaps something needs to change?
I believe taking care of our mental health and well being is one of the most important gifts we can give ourselves. The space I offer is welcoming, safe, confidential and non judgmental. It is a place where together we will explore what is troubling you. Voicing, untangling and making sense of how you feel with a qualified professional can enable clarity in a number of areas like understanding yourself more; understanding what you want and need; making decisions; learning how to manage and cope with certain triggers and taking steps forward to enable you to lead a happier, more fulfilled life.
I have successfully helped clients seeking counselling around:
- Bereavement & loss
- Relationships (family members or partners)
- Lack of confidence and low self esteem
- Depression & low mood
I offer both open-ended and fixed term counselling. Open ended means we can work together for as long as you feel you need counselling, or until we mutually decide we have gone as far as we can go. Fixed term means we can agree a fixed amount of sessions at the start. The aim of both is to give you the space you need, and the time to talk.
Following your initial enquiry, we would have a brief chat over the phone and then meet for an initial consultation lasting 20-30 minutes. This is a free of charge no obligation meeting. It allows me to learn more about what is bringing you to counselling, and to see how my areas of expertise match your needs. It also gives you a chance to decide if you feel counselling could be the right path for you.
